Night 2 Twelve boats came out and fishing was poor by most accounts but everyone had fun. 1st- Jeffery/Kalt- 28.4 Pounds 2nd- Gregoire/Thompson- 25.8 Pounds 3rd- Engen/Kroestch - 17.6 Pounds Night 3 will be Wednesday May 25th at the North landing.  Congratulate John Thompson on catching his first ever catfish.

This catfish competition looks really fun. I've been monitoring this competition since it started and I can say that the participants are really enjoying it. I never had a catfish whenever I'm fishing with my father. I really admired my father because he was so patient to wait for the fish to be caught on your bait. But, it is worth it whenever you got one. My father to me how to fish and I will keep that forever. At first, it is really tiring to wait, but, in the end it's worth the wait. The dreaded wind knot can be prevented, or at least reduced, by manually flipping over the bail on your spinning reel after a cast.
